Ireland’s leading steel frame expert
Eoin Madden has worked in construction management since 1983. He founded Stanta Ltd, Ireland’s first Structural Light Gauge Steel Frame (LSF) Company in 1998 after building the first LSF house in Ireland, where he still lives. Stanta worked for all the top 10 contractors and most of the top architects before 2008. The company also exported panels and systems throughout the UK. Under new ownership it is still very successful in the UK today.
For much of the period after 2008 Eoin sold the latest digital LSF machinery, worldwide. He helped set up manufacturing plants for new owners of machinery in the USA, Canada and many countries in South America. This involved factory layouts, supply chain advice, and mentoring all participants from fabricators, installers, engineering staff and their managers. He was involved with many project types from one-off luxury homes in the USA to multi-storey, mass social housing projects in Brazil.
He believes passionately that with the immense advances in digital technology and ever higher thermal, fire and acoustic standards, construction processes will move steadily towards cost effective, faster, higher quality factory production.
Eoin is an above average wood turner and below average golfer.
