Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) is an engineering methodology that focuses on reducing time-to-market and total production costs. DfMA priorities both the ease of manufacture for the product's parts and the simplified assembly of those parts into the final product.

Advanced detailing software

The use of advanced detailing software automates the process of creating panel fabrication drawings in minutes. This process when combined with the use of a digital workflow ensures the accuracy of our end product.

The software creates material reports and automatically exports data directly to our rolling machines and other manufacturing equipment. This removes the necessity for manual inputs which minimises errors and reduces production time.

Digital workflows

One of the key benefit of offsite manufacturing is that building components can be formed using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery. This combined with the use of a fully digital workflow streamlines the manufacturing process and ensures the accuracy of our end product.

At Framespace, we utilise precision roll-forming machines, CNC routers and semi-automated screw bridges in our production process. These machines utilise design information directly from our 3D BIM models which ensures accuracy, consistency and ultimately the quality of our end product.
